Associate Research Scientist

Poly Hannah Da Silva is an Associate Research Scientist in the Department of Statistics and the Irving Institute for Cancer Dynamics working with Prof. Simon Tavaré. She is interested in discrete mathematics, probabilistic combinatorics, graph theory and algorithms with their applications in bioinformatics, computational biology, genomics, cancer evolution and population dynamics. Currently, her area of interest mostly focuses on stochastic process and combinatorics problems arising in the understanding of cancer.
